In the year 2000, Selleck starred in a series of TV movies that included the Jesse Stone series, in which he was the role of a New England police chief. The role earned Selleck another Emmy nomination and he also served as the film's executive producer. Selleck plays a police officer who is a member of a multigenerational family. The role was part of Blue Bloods that premiered on CBS in the year 2010. Selleck eventually made it to the big screen. He appeared in the hugely well-known Three Men and a Baby along with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg and the film was the top-grossing film
