Kelly Clarkson has been a singer and songwriter in America for over 20 years. She took home American Idol during the first season. It was not just the win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson to fame as it also secured her an arrangement in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. From her first appearance in the series, she has released a number of albums. Three of those albums made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. Her name is regarded as one of the greatest success American Idol artists. She began to experiment with music and themes as her success was growing. As a result of her uniqueness and skill as a singer, she was praised by critics and won a few important awards. Most notably she has won three times the Grammy Award three times. Apart from her music career she has also appeared in movies and television shows. She is also the author of the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of various charities.
