Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine, of Scottish-English descendance. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children. Four of them were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years and then moving to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands and then Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions. After she turned 16, she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
